Garden & Conservation Trust
The Garden and Conservation Trust was established in 1967 as a tax-exempt, 501-3C trust. Its primary purpose is to raise money for capital improvements required to keep this 110+ year old greenhouse in good working order. The trust also sponsors a greenhouse manager who oversees the greenhouse activities. The trust is comprised of 6 members from each of The Ridgefield Garden Club and Caudatowa Garden Clubs, It relies solely on the donations and fundraising to support this work.
Capital ImprovementsThe Garden and Conservation Trust is responsible for raising the capital needed for improvements to efficiently and effectively run the greenhouse. It has made many much needed improvements including adding a garage, office space and a restroom. They also installed an automated venting system, and a backup generator.
